Longhorn Tavern, Edison, WA
| I like Longhorn. It's local for me and feels cozy. Good food and I like the service and bar as well. Good vibe. | |
| |
| My buddy who was full of local personality and knowledge. | |
Lots of locals and characters.
| Very friendly and prompt. | |
Sadly they have just one person working tables in the bar but she's able to succeed somehow.
| Nice outdoor area with picnic tables and music on the slough. | |

| Longhorn Saloon. It's right down the road now. Nice place. Feels cozy and lively. Food is good. Has pool tables, etc. | |
| So they have sandwiches...nice, now we're talking. | |

| These were done perfectly. They were golden brown and great. And they served way too many. I microwaved them the next day and they were soggy but still tasty. Time for an air fryer maybe. | |
| |
| Side salad topped with parmesan. | |
| Lots of dressing on the side. | |
| Was a decent salad in the end. | |
| I may not like shredded parmesan on a salad. | |
| I held the tomatoes today because they were mealy once. | |
Served in small cereal bowl.
| Crispy, spunky and fresh. | |
| Quite good. They give you lots. Seasoned with black pepper. | |
| Pretty good. Not too fancy. Perfect circles. Processed. | |

| |
| And a French dip (and a burger dip) even! | |
| Looks good. Cut on bias. No skewers. Jus looks dark. | |
| I'm liking the bias cutting and size is large. | |
| Looks a bit bedraggled but good. | |
| Medium rare beef looking good. | |
| |
| |
| Swiss makes it taste gamey, which wasn't my goal. Consider another cheese or no cheese. | |
| Good, hot jus, plentiful. | |
| |
| Peppery. Dry but good beef. | |
Was med rare today and great. Liked it. Less peppery than last time.
| Didn't get Swiss. I had reviewed my notes from their French dip and realized that the Swiss cheese was the thing on that sandwich that I liked the least. | |
Got swiss tonight and liked it.
| Pretty large size. Floury. Seemed fancy. Sense. Not just a standard French roll, which was a good thing. | |
Liked a lot this evening. Really good and high quality. Absorbent, too. Big size and such.
| Maybe too salty but still very good. | |
Really loved this "sandwich" and jus for the dipping please today. The bread is quite big, there's lots of beef. This time burger was served medium rare, the jus was very salty, very hot and very rich.
I skipped the Caesar side salad tonight. Had no interest in it. Sandwich only.
Country Fair Onion Burger
| |
| Good size. Crunchy, thick bacon. Tasty, peppery. | |
Southern Fried Chicken Burger
| Really good. Lots of chicken, tender. Good bun. Lots of hq sliced pickles. Mayo. | |
| Grilled Onions and Red Bell Peppers | |
| Were pretty good. Nicely salted. | |
Overall a very messy sandwich to eat.
| Was fine, perhaps a bit much. | |
| Quite huge. Only ate half. | |

| "GRILLED OR BREADED CHICKEN, AVOCADO, ROMAINE, TOMATO & PARMESAN CHEESE TOSSED IN HONEY MUSTARD." | |
Was told by rates to get with fried chicken.
No idea why I ordered this wrap but it sounded good somehow. I'd eaten a lot of pork and beef lately so chicken was sounding good. Realizing I had sweet mustard with lunch. Uh oh.
Was pretty good overall. Came out hot and fresh. The chicken was pretty good. The wrap tortilla was pretty nice I think it was a sun-dried tomato thing. The vegetables were fresh and the parmesan cheese was good.
| Indeed chewy as expected. | |
I ordered my medium rare and Berry got his medium. I was more critical of mine than Berry was of his.
Mine was definitely served less than hot. I would hardly even call mine warm. I wouldn't call it cold but it was definitely not a suitable temperature for me. It was indeed served medium rare but I would have definitely liked it hotter temperature wise.
I put a one steak sauce on mine which did make it better. It seems like about half of the steak was tender and the other half was not so tender.
| Reminiscent of Red Robin steak fries but not quite as good. | |
I dipped mine into ketchup and mustard 50/50 max. Very dip his into barbecue sauce that he ordered separately.
| I didn't feel like eating mine because of all the parmesan and diced tomatoes that could have been mealy. | |
| Quite good. Were salted too much generally but we're very good overall. The fish tasted fresh and was not fried. The vegetable toppings were quite good. They did not seem heavy or anything like that. The portion was also quite nice. Did not come with a side but that was okay. | |
| Josh said this was very good. Served with fries. | |
| |
| |
| Quite tasty. Good. Not too hoppy. Cold. | |
Georgetown Bodhisattva IPA
| Had a few tonight. Service was really slow so I had to pass the time. | |
Good. Crisp. Sharp. Bright.
Cold. Could be a favorite.
Could hurt my stomach. Had 2 pints on 2/15/2022 and woke up at midnight for about two hours.
| |
| Dubbed ‘the poor man’s Macallan’ it boasts a malty sweetness and a faint whiff of soft smoke, possibly from one of its alleged central malts – Cragganmore. | |

Awesome local spot in Edison.
