Classic joint in "The Valley". What would it be like in the modern era? About the same. But some good food. Trip down memory lane.
Got bought by Shawn O'Donnell's chain. Many new choices and some classics left behind. More vibrant more. Dropkick Murphys playing overhead. Still a senior citizen crowd.
Definitely a little bit run down and s***** inside. Good enough though.
Bathrooms are old, cold and dirty. Hopefully part of their remodel.

Great. Really loved the suppleness of the bread more than anything. And the side salad. And just the funky old vibe.
Nice looking sandwich. Skewers. Cut partially on bias.
One orange, one blue skewer.
Meat may look a bit dry but not bad.
Side of creamy horseradish. A nice touch but I really want the real stuff. No mayo.
Looks good. You see the richness of the jus.

Basically a funky old "dive" in The Valley.
