| My seat. The clientele were a bit seedy. I wasn't all that impressed or having too much fun. I was trying to watch the KC Chiefes playing Joe Judge's NY Giants on Monday Night Football. | |
| Also seen: the picture of this lady at the bar. Risque! | |
| Oh and she's hanging on the wall in the men's room as well. Risqueeeee!! | |
| |
| My water. Service was slow. The bartender was also the waitress...running ragged. | |
| Nice area with tables and a service in the back. Check it out if the weather is good! | |
| Sign saying $5 cover for band but no band. | |
| |
| |
| I love baseball, it was the World Series. | |
Way less fun and lively than The Longhorn at 6 on a Monday.
| Stevie wonder isn't she lovely | |
Phil Collins playing quietly

| So it was dinnertime and I was Old Father Hubbard and had nothing. Out I went. | |
| Seemed like I needed to know. | |

| "Smooth" bleu cheese dressing a bit of a bummer. Didn't stand out. | |
| Salad looked pretty good generally. | |
| Really nice taste. Great, basically. Herbs in the real good. Served piping hot. Parmesan makes both chewy and creamy. Small bits of garlic in there, perhaps, that are made to be enjoyed. | |

| |
| |
| Didn't use. Quite sweet, somewhat thick/viscous and wasn't at all needed. | |
Delicious and fresh overall. Black pepper taste was enjoyable.
| Good, spicy because black pepper, cooked to medium rare as expected, plentiful. | |
| |
| Not huge but good enough. Maybe should be called a side salad instead. | |
| Some spinach. A bit too "flat" for me but ended up being quite good. | |
Could have used malt vinegar.
| Needed a second, hesitated to ask. | |

| They had tonight as a special. Sounded good and would like to try at some point. | |
How often do they have cioppino?
| |
| Here it is. Doesn't look too bad. | |
| Bread looks okay. Meltedness and all that looks good. | |
| Swiss and caramelized onions. Seems like it's going to be good right. M, not really great. | |
| Jus looks light in color but does have floating bits so I assumed it'd be good. It was fairly "oily" which was good. 4 of 5. | |
| Sandwich looks good but doesn't taste all that great standalone. 2 of 5. | |
| Money shot is not looking real great. Jus too light in color. The jus did "save" the sandwich though and brought the flavor up to a 4 of 5. Quite good. Oniony. | |

| |
| Not very black. Not very hot. | |
Served in a clear coffee mug which I actually liked. Felt retro.
| |
| Had another tonight as a second beer after an IPA. Wasn't my favorite, though. Maybe too sweet or thick? | |

| Enjoyed a steak salad and tomato soup in a Monday. Both were great. Would go back for these items but the clientele still seems to me to be a bit backwoods/from up river. Longhorn more fun and vibrant. | |
Aftertaste after soup and salad

Great real estate makes it hard not to stop there. But it's really not my jam compared to The Corner Pub and Longhorn.
