Outside Inside Overall Ambiance Kitchen Bustling. Ring the bell and the staff comes running urgently. Music Ray Charles Other oldies with an upright bass Calm, slow, chill stuff Bar Clientele Menu Food & Drink Beverages Gin Martini with Olives, Up Good tonight. Cold. Icy. Nicely shaken. Bombay Sapphire That's how I do. They ran out after my first! Hendrick's Jessica loved this. Top shelf. Some fruitiness. Less dry than Sapphire. Teased waitress about how devasted I was. Nice flavor. Only one olive. 😥 Cute little fork (on brand!) for the olive but I'd add more olives if I were them. Don't go cheap on me now, people!!! Food Bread Too sweet for me. Warm. Herbs but don't know which. Type not announced. Fillet Salad Half chicken Components Potatoes Really nice someked flavor. Not very hot. Chicken Heavy on the bbq sauce, sadly. Improvement ideas I want some mushrooms with it, for example, or other roasted vegetables, not just potatoes. Needs "jus" and probably mashed potatoes or grits. Skin Is good. Left it on. Some spice. Spiciness Was good. Juicy, moist. Some spiciness to it but not much. BBQ sauce forward. 😢 Aftertaste Mostly smokey and BBQ saucelike. Really "just" the chicken, not much else. Don't get again. Overall Too much BBQ sauce flavor. 😩 Juicy but meh. Service Food delivery indeed a bit slow tonight.. They may have brought me out "sympathy bread". The female cook (seemed like owner) came out to apologize to me directly for the slowness of the chicken service. 😟 Review and Feedback Overall I love this place. It seems fancy and their food good.

I have been to the fork in Bellingham a month or two prior and enjoyed it. This was a really cute place very clean nicely lit and excellent food. Their bar was attractive and it's definitely a place I'd go back to. Service Friendly. Food Ordering Thought I wanted the black cod with squid pasta but got the fillet mignon instead. Added a spinach salad. Not cheap but should be tasty. Really hungry. Appetizers Spinach salad Ingredients Greens Nice. Good. Baby. Toppings Diced Pear Nice and fresh, supple, sweet. Red onions Not too much but enough. Other nuts like Pine? Seemed present. Cheese? Seemed like may have been in there but limited. Toasted pecans Size Pretty good size but not huge either, which was nice. Flavor Cinnamon taste Nice. Aftertaste Nice ten minutes later. Main course Fillet mignon 4.5 Excellent. Preparation Nicely prepared. Some great caramelized bites. Cut Super high quality. Tender. Sauteed Spinach Nice, fresh, light with some nutmeg and caramelized garlic texture. Fingerling potatoes Were really good. Not too many. Great texture. Additive. Not greasy at all. Jus Red wine reduction Beverages Iced tea Small glass. Ambiance Music Old, relaxing jazz and crooning. Busy-ness Not very. Sunday night. Lighting Low. Nice mood.
