| | | I was heading home after the holiday in Sun Valley at 2022's New Year. I had driven over there because I missed my flight Monday morning due to holiday travelers, covid staffing issues and snow in Seattle. I was starving and really needed to eat something good; more than just roadside junk like I'd been doing. For example, I had crummy fake-eggs and fried hot dogs for breakfast at the Hampton Inn in Pendleton Oregon. Yummers. I was feeling like a salad and passing through Seattle. And I thought to myself, "Where have I not eaten a French Dip?" The answer was Claimjumper! | |

| At the time I was feeling really spooked about my water pipes bursting from the freezing at home but I was so hungry I had to stop. Probably shouldn't have stopped but did. In the end it all worked out well! | |

| I was feeling in a big rush so I didn't really let myself savor or truly enjoy much. And truthfully there may not have been much to really enjoy. I did have a bad cold, too, so that could have been part of this somewhat negative review. | |

I think I might have places hold the tomatoes if they're simply diced. I tolerate sliced tomatoes and cherry tomatoes but I don't want them diced. Bad for texture. | |

| I want more on my salad than just the standard fare. This was definitely the standard fare and I wasn't all that enticed. It wasn't too different from my GREAT salad the night before in Oregon but it wasn't great. Cheddar cheese maybe makes it a little bit nice but it's not enough to differentiate. I think it needs to have something like olives or cucumber or really anything (red onion?) that makes it different and better than "just a side salad". Basics: good greens Performance: more basics Excitement: any unique feature. | |
