Boundary Bay Brewery
|
| Anne was up visiting me on Samish and we were seeking an adventure on a Saturday evening after vising my family on Guemes for the twins' 6th birthday. Anne had not yet spent too much time in Bellingham, so that destination sounded like a priority. We drove from Anacortes up Chuckanut Drive while discussing the Bellingham "brewery scene". Anne research online and found lists (Aslan was mentioned a lot). After further discussion I talked her into Boundary Bay Brewery, an old favorite that's been there since 1995, which was my freshman year at Western. | |

We ran into Scott Ritchie while we waited. We were given a corner table that was quite nice but hard to hear given loud music and some form of echo.

| Nice place. Would go back. Vibrant and happening. They had Irish dancers the night we were there; was fun. | |

| Our service was definitely amiss but it should be forgiven. College kid? | |

| Looked good, didn't eat. Came with a little ball of butter which looked good. | |

Was tasty. Enjoyed. Nice little potatoes cubes in there.

|
| Really good according to Anne. Nice shaved parmesan. | |
|
"Really good. Anthony's is slightly better, though."

| Low flavor. Bland and dry. Some pepperiness. | |
|
|
| Good dressing. Nice greens. Fresh. | |

| Nice to have this as a selection but I don't think they added anything. | |

| Too much. Sourdough? Seems like high quality bread but wasn't toasted to my liking and was just too much volume, I thought, for the sandwich. | |

| Came in small glasses, not pints. | |

| Perhaps too sweet for me. | |
